Q) 21 glass spheres, each of radius 2 cm are packed in a cuboidal box of internal dimensions 16 cm × 8 cm × 8 cm and, then the box is filled with water. Find the volume of water filled in the box.

Volume of a cuboid = L x B x H

Here given that L = 16 cm, B = 8 cm, H = 8 cm

Given that the radius of each sphere = 2 cm

∴ Volume of each sphere = 21 glass spheres, each of radius

∴ Volume of 21 spheres = 21 X 21 glass spheres, each of radius

Step 3:

Now, the volume of water in the tank = Volume of the tank – Volume of 21 spheres
