= 1/8 + 1/12 + 1/X = 5/24 + 1/X
∴ 2 x (A + B + C)’s 1 day’s work = 5/24 + 1/X
∴ (A + B + C)’s 1 day’s work = 5/48 + 1/2X
Given that, (A + B + C)’s 1 day’s work = 1/6
∴ 5/48 + 1/2X = 1/6
