Let’s consider the one zero of the given polynomial be $\alpha$ , then other zero will be $\frac{1}{\alpha}$ .

We know that

Product of the zeroes (α x β) = $\frac{c}{a}$

$\therefore$ $(\alpha) (\frac{1}{\alpha}) = \frac{-(k-2)}{6}$

or 6 = – (k – 2)

Hence, k = – 4
